Cathy Hailey teaches in Johns Hopkins University's online MA in Teaching Writing program and previously taught high school English and Creative Writing in Prince William County, VA. For The Poetry Society of Virginia, she serves as Northern Region Vice President, Student Contest Chair, and Young Poets in the Community Coordinator. She co-hosts Virginia Voices, and hosts Where Art Meets the Line. For the Prince William Poet Laureate Circle, she organizes In the Company of Laureates. Her chapbook, I'd Rather Be a Hyacinth, was published by Finishing Line Press. Recent publications include The PSV Centennial Anthology, Texas Poetry Assignment, and Circling With the Laureates.
