Kim B Miller's poetry is inspirational, her words are bold and she is unapologetically blunt. She has performed nationally in person and internationally online. Kim is the Poet Laureate of Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park VA: October 2020-October 2022. She is the First African American Poet Laureate for this region. Her poems have been published in African Voices magazine, a Portuguese book, a DC newspaper, an interfaith anthology and several websites and books. Kim performed at The National Black Theater, The Atlas Performing Arts Center, Northern Virginia Community College, University of Pikeville (in Kentucky) and many other venues. Kim was featured on WTOP, 103.5 FM, both on the air and on their website. Voice of America-VOA recently did a documentary on Kim.
