Barbara Quick's 2007 novel Vivaldi’s Virgins (still in print) has been translated into thirteen languages, optioned for a mini-series, and made into an audiobook. Five of her poems were recorded by Garrison Keillor in 2022. Her poems have been published in half a dozen anthologies and many periodicals, including Scientific American. She won the 2020 Blue Light Press Poetry Prize for The Light on Sifnos. Her first novel, Northern Edge, was awarded the Discover: Great New Writers Prize. Her fourth novel, What Disappears, set in the world of the Ballets Russes, was published in 2022.
